Soapstone Change Dish 4" x 5" rectangular dish is carved out of soapstone from Kisii, Kenya. The raised portion above the mountains is actually a small line of elephants marching across the dish. It offers a place to store your keys or loose change on the dresser. The design was batiked--made by applying wax on white soapstone and dying patterned areas with a black dye. This is not food safe or suitable for a soapdish as the dye may run if soaked. $12.00
