Mama Doll with Baby This mama carries a baby doll in a cloth wrap on her back as many Kenyan women do. The fabric doll has a bright Kenyan dress, panties, headwrap and baby in scarf wrap. Approx. 12" tall. Beneath the headwrap, her yarn hair is tied in a bun. Each doll is handmade and will be unique in details. Color of dress may vary. The Artisans TEMAK. The Teenage Mothers and Girls Association of Kenya trains young women in life skills necessary to support themselves and their families. One of the many skill is craft-making from readily available materials. The organization also opens international markets to other artisans in the city of Kisumu, who previously relied on trourists visiting Lake Victoria. These artisans share their skills with the young women of TEMAK, turning Kisumu into a true artisan enclave. $45.00
