Aardvark Alley selling African crafts at AardvarkAlley.net

Our Kenyan colleague, Dolfine Gumba Dawa (founder of Korando Faith Widows & Orphan Group) will be visiting in Maine this April! She will be giving talks about humanitarian work in the face of political and economic violence, namely: her work with AIDS widows and orphans. Please check for times and locations: CALENDER
Aardvark Alley purchases crafts from Korando Faith Widows & Orphans Group (KFWOG). Some of the crafts are made by the widows and orphans and some are purchased from artisan friends. We also work with US Fair Trade suppliers to bring high quality African crafts to this internet store. We all work to assure fair business practices, so that African artisans are paid fair wages in safe work places. Aardvark Alley sends a portion of its profits to Kenyan craftspeople to develop new products and improve their businesses. Take a look around. When you buy from Aardvark Alley, you are helping support small businesses in Africa.
